Josias De La Cruz Haywood
Founder & Ceo
He is an Applied Economist, Civil Engineer, and Scholar who combines more than 15 years of experience across those three fields. He has worked applying quantitative analysis, economic theory, financial modeling, and data-driven strategies to business objectives. He holds a Master's in Applied Economics with a concentration in Quantitative Business Economics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a major in Engineering Economics and Structural Design from INTEC University (D.R.), and a Master's in Exegetical Studies from Bar-Ilan University (Israel). He is also a Ph.D. candidate in Exegetical Studies with a focus on Economics. His multidisciplinary education provides VIA ECONOMICA Consulting with a distinctive foundation that combines economics and quantitative business analysis, engineering, and interdisciplinary research.
His professional experience combines economic consulting, business analysis, financial modeling, profitability analysis, econometrics, predictive analytics, and large-scale project management. He participated in projects where he applied data-driven forecasting to identify optimal production levels, contributing to a reported $1.79 million increase in company profitability. Likewise, he helped research institutions through applied econometric and predictive models to analyze market behavior, firm performance, consumer purchasing behavior, budgets, and debt, while his work also included financial modeling, quantitative market research for PE and LBO opportunities, and Power BI analytics. Earlier in his engineering career, he contributed to major infrastructure projects, including the $60 million 2017 RFK Bridge rehabilitation, completed one month ahead of schedule and within the initial budget. Such a combination of economic analysis, financial decision-making, quantitative technology, and hands-on project leadership gives clients a strong analytical foundation for addressing complex business challenges and pursuing sustainable profit growth.
